Artist Statement Using organic shapes to connect earth, sky, land and sea, the artist tries to show the relationship of all life forms to another. Nature's rhythms and movements are important, as life is never still, always changing. Using a palette of earth tones reflecting nature's landscape, the artist works in oil paint on canvas, panel or constructed forms. Influenced by the Circle of Life found in Native American culture, the artist hopes her work will have a spiritual element and that anyone looking at her work can be transported to another level- to feel the piece and have an emotional response to it.
